Interwell, a Kerala-based startup, has secured a spot at the prestigious Global EdTech Startup Awards, set to compete in London in 2025.
Kochi: Interwell, a Kerala-based startup, has emerged as a remarkable winner at the prestigious Global EdTech Startup Awards (GESA), the largest EdTech startup competition in the world. Every year, the JES Awards selects 60 startups from various countries, and Interwell has made it to the Bootcamp and finals scheduled to take place in London in January 2025. Along with Interwell, two other Indian startups, Skooglink and Stampidiya, also secured spots on the list.
This award provides a unique opportunity for startups from all over the world to showcase their products to global audiences, create key partnerships, and simplify business opportunities in a naturally localized industry. In addition to promoting the best EdTech startups, the JES Awards also help strengthen regional EdTech ecosystems and facilitate the flow of EdTech investments into alternative markets. Established in 2014, this award has become an international platform supporting the global expansion and international collaboration within the EdTech sector.
Interwell, founded by Ramiz Ali, Shibili, Aslah, Sanafir, and Najim from Arikkod, Malappuram, is currently providing personal tutoring services in over 60 countries. The startup has been lauded by Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman and has made its mark in global startup programs hosted by renowned companies like Nvidia, Google, and Microsoft, among others. Interwell’s CEO, Ramiz Ali, expressed that this recognition will significantly benefit the startup’s expansion into European countries such as the UK, Germany, and France.
