Chinmaya Vishwa Vidyapeeth has signed an MoU with Mumbai-based FinX Institute to launch a Capital Market–focused BCom program embedded with NISM certifications, aimed at boosting BFSI job opportunities for students.
Kochi: Chinmaya Vishwa Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with FinX Institute, a leading financial education Institution based in Mumbai with the main aim of creating Capital Market Professionals.
The MoU was signed between the University’s acting Registrar Dr. P Rajendran and FinX Sr. Vice President Mr. Arun Kumar Pottam in a ceremony held at the University’s Kochi campus on Warriam Road in the presence of Chinmaya Vishwa Vidyapeeth University’s acting Vice Chancellor Prof T. Asokan. The university will start BCom with Capital Market as the main subject embedded with NISM certifications from the Next Academic year. The curriculum will be as per the National Education policy Deputy Dean – Academics of Chinmaya Vishwa Vidyapeeth, Prof. Dr. Manjula Iyer, Assistant Professors Dr. Renju Chandran, Dr. Rakhi K.S and FinX Institute Kerala Regional Head Mr. Swaroop Menon also participated in the ceremony.
