The second edition of the Summit of the Future at Jain University Kochi achieved a Guinness World Record with a relay speech involving 401 participants. The event surpassed the previous global record and was completed by strictly following Guinness guidelines over 10 hours and 25 minutes.
Kochi: The second edition of the Summit of the Future, organised at Jain University, Kochi, has entered the Guinness World Records with a remarkable achievement.
As part of the summit, a relay speech involving 401 participants was successfully completed, setting a new Guinness World Record. The relay speech lasted 10 hours and 25 minutes, surpassing the previous record of 313 participants set in Surat. The programme began at 9:00 am and concluded at 7:25 pm.
Each participant delivered a speech lasting a minimum of one minute and a maximum of three minutes, with the next speaker required to begin within ten seconds of the previous speech ending. The relay speech was completed in strict adherence to all Guinness guidelines.
At the closing ceremony of the Summit of the Future, the Guinness World Record certificate was received by Dr. Tom Joseph, Director – New Initiatives, Jain University, and Prof. Dr. J. Latha, Pro Vice-Chancellor, from Guinness World Records Adjudicator Swapnil Dangarikar.
