Sigma Strengthens Partnership with Rolls-Royce Aerospace with £125 Million Long-Term Agreement

Kochi: Sigma Advanced Systems, a leading company in the defence and aerospace sector, has strengthened its partnership with UK-based Rolls-Royce Aerospace by signing a long-term agreement worth £125 million. Under the agreement, Sigma will manufacture Bromford aero-engine rings, casings, lock plates and other critical engine components at its manufacturing facilities in India and the UK. The partnership will also enable the company to establish a more comprehensive dual-source manufacturing system in line with Rolls-Royce requirements.

The partnership has been facilitated through Bromford Precision Solutions, Sigma’s UK subsidiary based in Leicester. The new agreement is expected to expand the group’s product portfolio and manufacturing capabilities across major aerospace programmes. It will also strengthen Sigma’s position within Rolls-Royce’s UK supply chain while providing greater long-term revenue visibility for the group.

Through the acquisition of Bromford, Sigma has gained specialised technological capabilities in the production of aero-engine rings and casings, along with advanced precision manufacturing expertise. This enables the company to supply a broader range of complex engine components and strengthens its ability to rapidly expand into high-value, large-scale partnerships in the global aerospace sector.
