KOCHI: In light of the escalating security situation and recent regional developments in Saudi Arabia, the Embassy of India in Riyadh has issued an urgent safety advisory for all Indian nationals residing across the Kingdom. The Embassy, in close coordination with the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) in New Delhi, confirmed that it is actively monitoring the evolving security landscape to ensure the safety, well-being, and protection of the Indian expatriate community.
Under the official directive, Indian citizens have been strongly advised to exercise extreme caution and restrict non-essential movement outside their residences. The Embassy has issued a strict warning against sharing or circulating unverified news, military movement reports, or explosion footage on social media platforms, urging the community to rely solely on official communications from local authorities. To extend round-the-clock diplomatic support and guidance during emergencies, the Embassy has activated a 24×7 control room and released a dedicated toll-free helpline number: 8002471234. Expatriates are urged to strictly adhere to official safety guidelines.
