Public Relations Centre Consecration
Mamangalam: (02.03.26) https://societytodaynews.com/ The consecration ceremony of the Ernakulam Public Relations Centre of the Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church at Mamangalam, Ernakulam, will be held today at 2:30 PM. His Holiness Baselios Marthoma Mathews III, Catholicos of the East and Malankara Metropolitan, will be the chief celebrant. Metropolitan Dr. Yacob Mar Irenaeus and Metropolitan Yuhanon Mar Polycarpos will serve as co-celebrants.
Kochi Mayor V.K. Mini Mol, T.J. Vinod MLA, Councillors Sini Anand and Vijayakumar, Church Priest Trustee Fr. Dr. Thomas Varghese Amayil, Lay Trustee Rony Varghese Abraham, and Association Secretary Adv. Biju Oommen will address the gathering.
Chottanikkara Makam Thozhal
Chottanikkara: (02.03.26) https://societytodaynews.com/ The Makam Thozhal Maholsavam at the Chottanikkara Devi Temple will be held today. The rituals will begin at 5:30 AM with Aarattu and Irakki Pooja at Onakkurichira. After receiving offerings at the Aarattu Kadavu, the procession will return to the temple, followed by the Makam Ezhunnallippu accompanied by Panchari Melam.
Makam Thozhal will commence at 2:00 PM. Devotees will have the opportunity to offer Makam Thozhal until 9:30 PM.
