Kochi: The 0484 Lounge at Cochin International Airport (CIAL) has marked a successful milestone, completing 100 days of operation with over 7,000 guests served and nearly 4,000 bookings recorded. The lounge, managed by CIASL, a subsidiary of CIAL, is accessible to both travelers and visitors. Offering flexible booking durations of 8, 12, and 24 hours, it caters not only to passengers requiring accommodation but also to those seeking a comfortable space to relax before or after their journey.
The lounge has emerged as a safe and convenient retreat for NRI travelers and long-haul passengers. With premium facilities such as a conference hall and boardroom, it has also gained popularity among corporate clients for business meetings, eliminating the need for travel into the city. Additionally, the lounge is being utilized for pre-wedding shoots, press conferences, and business gatherings.
Equipped with an in-house café and retail outlets, the lounge offers a well-rounded experience. Its strategic location near the terminal makes it an ideal resting hub for late-night travelers, ensuring both comfort and security. Established as part of CIAL’s strategy to enhance non-aeronautical revenue, the lounge was inaugurated in September 2024 and commenced operations in October 2024.
