Aero India 2025 Takes Off in Bengaluru, Showcasing Global Aerospace and Defense Innovations

  Aero India 2025, inaugurated in Bengaluru by Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, showcases cutting-edge aerospace and defense technologies, reinforcing India’s global partnerships and self-reliance in defense manufacturing.

 

Bengaluru: The 15th edition of Aero India 2025, Asia’s largest aerospace and defense exhibition, has officially begun in Bengaluru. The event was inaugurated by Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, who emphasized India’s commitment to strengthening global partnerships and advancing defense technology.

Speaking at the inauguration, Rajnath Singh highlighted the significance of Aero India 2025 in fostering international cooperation based on mutual respect, shared interests, and collective benefits. He stated that the exhibition would serve as a platform for showcasing cutting-edge defense technologies while reinforcing India’s industrial capabilities and technological advancements. The event also aligns with India’s vision of ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’ (Self-Reliant India) and the ‘Make in India, Make for the World’ initiative, promoting indigenous defense manufacturing and international collaborations.

The five-day event will witness the participation of government representatives, industry leaders, air force officials, scientists, defense experts, startups, and academia from various countries. Amidst the evolving global security landscape, Rajnath Singh reaffirmed India’s role as a peaceful and stable nation, stating,
“India has never attacked any country or engaged in major global conflicts. We have always been advocates of peace and stability, which remain integral to our core values.”

Aero India 2025 will feature state-of-the-art aerospace and defense products from leading global companies alongside India’s indigenous innovations. It will also serve as a hub for international collaborations aimed at accelerating localization and technology transfers in the defense sector.

The exhibition will be open for business visitors from February 10 to 12, while February 13 and 14 have been designated as public days, allowing general visitors to experience the showcase of advanced aviation and defense technologies.
