AHPI’s two-day international conclave on patient-centered care and hospital management kicks off in Kochi, featuring expert-led sessions and discussions on healthcare innovation and quality.
Kochi: The two-day international conclave organized by the Association of Healthcare Providers India (AHPI) on the theme “Patient-Centered Care: Revolutionary Changes in Hospital Management” commenced at Le Meridien, Kochi. Dr. M.I. Sahadulla (Organizing Chair), Managing Director and Chairman of KIMS Health, Fr. Johnson Vazhappilly (Organizing Co-Chair), Executive Director of Rajagiri Hospital, Ranjith Krishnan (Organizing Secretary), CEO of Kinder Hospitals, Dr. Giridhar Gyani (Director General of AHPI), Dr. Bhabotosh Biswas (President), Dr. Alex Thomas (Founder Member), and Dr. Sunil Khetarpal (Director) participated in the conclave, alongside numerous prominent figures from the healthcare sector, both within the country and abroad.
Sessions focused on topics such as ways to achieve Universal Health Coverage, patient-centered care models, sustainable healthcare infrastructure, the implementation of innovative information technology systems, and balanced hospital management that focuses on both efficiency and quality. Leading healthcare experts conducted various sessions. Key discussions included patient-centered care methods ensuring quality, patient-friendly healthcare, doctor-patient relationships, the need for affordable healthcare models, and the necessity for universal healthcare standards.
