AOICON 25 brings together over 2,500 ENT professionals with live surgeries, expert discussions, and prestigious awards.
Kochi: AOICON 25, the national conference of the Association of Otolaryngologists of India (AOI), began yesterday with live surgical demonstrations and training sessions for ENT doctors and medical students. Over 2,500 doctors participated in the sessions, marking a strong start to the event.
The official inauguration of the conference is scheduled for today (January 10, Friday) at Le Meridien, Ernakulam, at 5:30 PM. The event will be inaugurated by Justice A.K. Jayasankaran Nambiar, Judge of the Kerala High Court. Dr. Shankar B. Medikeri, the National President of AOI, will preside over the function, and Dr. Jacob Abraham, President of IMA Kochi, will serve as the chief guest.
As part of the ceremony, Lifetime Achievement Awards will be presented to Dr. Achal Gulati, Dr. Jayakumar Menon, and Dr. A.M. Saha in recognition of their contributions to the field.
Today’s agenda includes paper presentations, panel discussions on various topics, quiz competitions for medical postgraduate students, and contests for paper presentations, surgical video presentations, poster presentations, and research papers in both senior and junior consultant categories.
