CII’s Ascent Summit in Kochi this weekend will bring together successful entrepreneurs and experts to share insights on Kerala’s growth potential ahead of the Invest Kerala Global Summit in February.
Kochi, Jan 29: The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) is set to organize a significant event, “Anchoring Growth from Kerala,” this weekend, as a precursor to the much-awaited Invest Kerala Global Summit scheduled for February 21 and 22. The event, called the Ascent Summit, will take place on February 1 at Hotel Monsoon Empress in Kochi, with support from the Kerala State Industrial Development Corporation (KSIDC).
The summit will commence at 5:30 p.m. and feature two main sessions, culminating in an address by Industries Minister Shri P. Rajeeve, who will be the Chief Guest.
The first session, titled “Journeys of Resilience, Creativity & Determination,” will showcase six successful entrepreneurs who will share their stories of growth and challenges. This will be followed by a roundtable discussion moderated by KSIDC Chairman Balagopal Chandrasekhar, titled “Nurtured in Kerala, Paving the Way for Global Legacy,” where a panel of six experts will discuss Kerala’s role in fostering successful global enterprises.
The speakers for the first session include Hykon India CMD Shri Christo George, Navalt Solar & Electric Boats Director Shri Sandith Arumughan Thandasherry, Popees Baby Care Products founder Shri Shaju Thomas, Aceware Fintech Services MD Smt. Nimisha J Vadakkan, Solve Plastic Products MD Shri Sudheer Kumar, and Tranzmeo Founder-CEO Shri Safil Sunny.
Following this, a panel discussion will feature prominent figures such as SFO Technologies CMD Shri N Jehangir, CII Southern Region Past Chairman Shri Navas Meeran, Synthite Industries MD Shri Aju Jacob, VKC Footgear CMD Shri V K C Razak, Peekay Steel Castings Joint MD Shri K E Shanavas, and Vittal Cashew Industries MD Shri Santhosh Kamath.
The event will be inaugurated by CII Kerala Chairman Shri Vinod Manjila (Manjilas Food Tech), with Federal Bank Executive Director & Business Head (Retail) Smt. Shalini Warrier delivering the concluding remarks.
