The IHMA Kerala Chapter will host its 20th State Conference and National Scientific Seminar on April 27, 2025, in Palakkad, featuring expert sessions on pediatric homeopathy and honoring top practitioners and media contributors.
Palakkad : The 20th State Conference and National Scientific Seminar of the Indian Homeopathic Medical Association (IHMA) Kerala Chapter will be held on April 27, 2025, at Jobee’s Mall, Palakkad. The event will be inaugurated by Kerala’s Minister for Electricity, Shri K. Krishnankutty. IHMA National President Dr. K.M. Uvais will serve as the chief guest, while District Homeo Medical Officer Dr. Jyothi K will also attend. Dr. Saptarshi Banerjee from Kolkata will present a paper on innovative homeopathic treatments in pediatric care.
The National Scientific Seminar will feature discussions on various topics, including managing genetic disorders, autism, learning and behavioral disabilities in children, addiction recovery, and allergy-related illnesses through homeopathy. Experts will explore the latest advancements and treatment strategies within the field.
As part of the conference, media awards will be presented to Shri Harish Plamoottil (Malayala Manorama) and Shri Sunil Menon (Kairali TV) for their contributions in promoting homeopathy to the public. Minister Shri K. Krishnankutty will confer the awards. Notably, Shri Sunil Menon was selected for the honor on World Homeopathy Day, observed on April 10.
Outstanding practitioners in the field will also be recognised. Dr. K. Saji (Kozhikode) will receive the award for Best Private Practitioner, Dr. Mohammed Koya (Kozhikode) will be honored as Best Government Doctor, and Dr. Favas Ibnu Ali (Malappuram) will be awarded Best Newcomer Doctor. IHMA Kerala State President Dr. Mohammed Shameem, State General Secretary Dr. Parimal Chatterjee, and State Treasurer Dr. Ranjith Kumar P.S. announced that prominent personalities from the homeopathy sector, along with private and government doctors, teachers, and postgraduate and undergraduate students from various homeopathic colleges, will participate in the conference. The announcement was made during a press meet also attended by Palakkad District President Dr. Jaseela P.A., Conference Chairperson Dr. Dhanya Sasidharan, Conference Director Dr. Prashanth Ayyappan, and National Committee Member Dr. Basheer E.
