Jamshedpur: Kerala Blasters faced a bitter defeat as Jamshedpur’s goalkeeper, Albino Gomes, stood as an impenetrable wall. Despite dominating the game, the Blasters lost 1-0 in their away match, leaving them with 14 points from 14 matches, holding the 10th position in the league.
The Blasters controlled the game early, creating several opportunities through their attacking trio of Pepr, Noah, and Luna. However, Albino Gomes repeatedly thwarted their efforts, denying Noah’s brilliant strike in the fourth minute and Drincic’s powerful header later in the game.
Jamshedpur, despite struggling to create chances, capitalized on their first opportunity in the 61st minute when Pratik converted a deflected corner into the net. The Blasters made strategic substitutions, bringing on Ryntihlang and Rahul to bolster their attack, but Jamshedpur’s defense held firm.
