Mercedes-Benz has introduced two new luxury sports cars in India: the AMG GT 63 4MATIC+ and the AMG GT 63 Pro 4MATIC+ Coupe. Inspired by F1 performance engineering, these cars promise thrilling speed, advanced aerodynamics, and unmatched driving experiences for Indian racing enthusiasts.
Kochi : Luxury carmaker Mercedes-Benz has unveiled two new performance-oriented sports cars in India under its AMG GT series — the AMG GT 63 4MATIC+ and the AMG GT 63 Pro 4MATIC+ Coupe. Designed with inspiration from F1 performance engineering, the AMG GT 63 Pro Coupe is built for race track conditions while offering road-friendly features.
These second-generation AMG GT models combine track-bred technology with everyday usability, delivering a unique and powerful driving experience for car enthusiasts in India, according to Mercedes-Benz officials.
The ex-showroom price for the AMG GT 63 4MATIC+ is set at ₹3 crore, while the GT 63 Pro 4MATIC+ comes at ₹3.65 crore across India. Deliveries for the GT 63 are expected by the end of this year, and for the GT 63 Pro by early 2026.
The GT 63 Pro is the first AMG model in India to feature active aerodynamics inspired by F1 technology. It also debuts the variable all-wheel-drive system for enhanced traction and handling, and includes a dedicated Drift Mode that sends 100% power to the rear wheels. Additional highlights include AMG Active Ride Control suspension and standard 2.5-degree rear-axle steering.
Under the hood, the AMG GT 63 4MATIC+ delivers 430 kW (585 hp) of power and 800 Nm of torque, achieving 0–100 km/h in just 3.2 seconds, with a top speed of 315 km/h.
Santosh Iyer, Managing Director & CEO of Mercedes-Benz India, stated that the new AMG GT models are set to redefine sports car experiences in the Indian market by combining innovation, performance, and luxury.
