PHDCCI Kerala Chapter organised a seminar in Kochi focusing on sustainable development as a key priority for all industries. Industry leaders, experts, and CUSAT faculty and students participated in discussions on building a sustainable future for Kerala.
Kochi: The Kerala Chapter of the PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PHDCCI) organised a seminar on the theme “Driving Kerala’s Sustainable Future.” The seminar was inaugurated by Ranjeet Mehta, CEO and Secretary General of PHDCCI.
In his inaugural address, Ranjeet Mehta emphasised that sustainable development should be the primary objective across all industrial sectors, and said that business leaders must move forward with this goal at the core of their strategies. The programme was chaired by Dr. P. B. Bose, Chairperson of the PHDCCI Kerala Chapter.
Experts including Dr. Thomas Nechupadam, John Simon, and Dr. N. M. Sharafuddeen delivered talks on various related topics. The seminar witnessed participation from leading industry representatives, as well as faculty members and students from the environmental studies department of Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT).
