In a unique Christmas celebration, Sahrudaya staff members exchanged plants as symbols of care and prosperity, marking the beginning of a new project under the Net Zero Carbon Villages initiative. The plants, sourced from a nursery started by people with disabilities, were gifted as part of Sahrudaya’s Diamond Jubilee year celebrations.
The Christmas gathering, held at Ponnurunni Cardinal Parekkattal Hall, was graced by Fr. Varghese Pottakkal as the chief guest. He spoke on the essence of Christmas as a celebration of care and sharing. Fr. Jose Koluthuvelel, the director of Sahrudaya, presided over the event. Other speakers included Asst. Director Fr. Siben Manyampilly, General Manager Pappachan Thekkeekara, Chief Consultant Thomas Kadavan, Asst. General Manager Sunil Sebastian, and Riya Rosilin.
