Kochi: Bengaluru-based electric scooter manufacturer River has opened its first store in Kerala at Kochi. Spanning 1,715 square feet, the store showcases River’s latest model, Indie, along with accessories and exclusive merchandise.
As part of its expansion plan in Kerala, River aims to open stores in Kozhikode, Thrissur, and Thiruvananthapuram in the coming months, said Aravind Mani, Co-founder and CEO of River.
Currently, River operates eight outlets across Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai, Hubli, and Visakhapatnam. Plans are underway to launch stores in Mysuru, Coimbatore, Vijayawada, Goa, Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Pune, and Nagpur in the coming weeks. By March 2025, River aims to establish 25 stores across India.
The Indie scooter is designed for versatility, combining multi-utility features with a stylish design, making it an ideal travel partner for everyone.
In Kochi, the Indie is priced at ₹1,42,999 (ex-showroom). Customers can visit the store for test rides and bookings or explore accessories and merchandise. Test rides can also be booked online via a dedicated link. The Kochi store is located near the New Road on the NH Bypass at Vennala.
