Sony India has expanded its Bravia Theatre portfolio by launching two new soundbars – Bravia Theatre Bar 6 and Bravia Theatre System 6. These models are designed to deliver a cinematic audio experience at home.
The Bravia Theatre Bar 6 features a 3.1.2 channel surround sound system with a wireless subwoofer and up-firing speakers for overhead audio. Meanwhile, the Bravia Theatre System 6 is a powerful 5.1 channel home theatre setup with wireless rear speakers, a dedicated subwoofer, 1000W power output, and multi-stereo mode to ensure an immersive sound experience.
Both models come with common features including cinematic sound powered by Dolby Atmos and DTS:X, Vertical Surround Engine, S-Force Pro Front Surround, Voice Zoom 3 for enhanced dialogue clarity, optimized night and voice modes, and control via the Bravia Connect app. Sony India Managing Director Sunil Nayyar said that Indian consumers increasingly demand rich audiovisual experiences, and this new range sets a benchmark in the premium home entertainment segment.
The new Bravia soundbars will be available across Sony retail outlets (Sony Centers, Sony Exclusive Stores), leading electronics stores, and major e-commerce platforms in India. The Bravia Theatre System 6 (5.1 Surround Sound) will be priced at ₹49,990 and available from July 3, 2025, while the Bravia Theatre Bar 6 (3.1.2 Surround Sound) will be priced at ₹39,990 and available from July 1, 2025.
