Swiggy Instamart has received excellent feedback in Kochi, with the city being named one of the top places for chip lovers, and a resident once placing a 22,000 INR order for Malabar golden raisins on Dhantheera’s day.
Kochi: Swiggy’s quick commerce system, Instamart, has received an overwhelmingly positive response in Kochi. The annual report titled “How India Swigged 2024 – Swiggy Instamart Edition” reveals some interesting facts about the city’s customers. According to the report, a Kochi resident ordered 4,000 packets of chips through Swiggy Instamart last year, making Kochi one of the top cities in India for chip lovers.
In 2024, Kochi recorded one of the fastest deliveries in the country. An order consisting of red spinach, raw banana, and dishwashing gel, placed 1.1 kilometers away, was delivered in just 89 seconds. The most ordered items in Kochi included milk, onions, plantains, and curry leaves. One of the highest value orders came from Kochi on Dhantheera’s Day, where a customer spent ₹22,000 on 11.66 grams of Malabar gold raisins.
Swiggy Instamart has been exceptionally well-received in Kochi since its launch in November 2021. The CEO of Swiggy Instamart, Amitesh Ja, expressed that the platform has gained significant popularity among Kochi residents.
