Kochi: Tata Motors, one of India’s leading automobile manufacturers, has inaugurated two new Registered Vehicle Scrapping Facilities (RVSFs) under its “Recycle with Respect” initiative. The new centers, located in Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh) and Raipur (Chhattisgarh), were virtually inaugurated by Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways, Nitin Gadkari.
These state-of-the-art facilities will responsibly and safely dismantle end-of-life vehicles, including two-wheelers, three-wheelers, passenger vehicles, and commercial vehicles of any brand.
“Sustainability is not just a commitment but a strong pillar for the future journey of Tata Motors,” said Mr. Girish Wagh, Executive Director of Tata Motors. Through its expansive, nationwide “Recycle with Respect” network, Tata Motors now has the capacity to responsibly scrap over 1.75 lakh (175,000) end-of-life vehicles annually, he added.
