V-Guard Industries posted an 8.9% revenue growth in Q3 FY 2024-25, driven by strong electronics segment performance and a 16% surge in non-southern market sales.
Kochi: Leading electrical and electronics home appliance manufacturer V-Guard Industries Ltd. recorded a consolidated net revenue of ₹1,268.65 crore for the third quarter of the financial year 2024-25, ending December 31. This marks an 8.9% growth compared to ₹1,165.39 crore in the same period last year. The company’s consolidated net profit rose by 3.4% year-on-year, reaching ₹60.22 crore from ₹58.24 crore.
For the nine-month period ending December 31, V-Guard’s consolidated net revenue grew by 15% year-on-year, increasing from ₹3,513.90 crore to ₹4,039.74 crore. The consolidated net profit for the same period surged by 22.7%, rising from ₹181.41 crore to ₹222.58 crore.
V-Guard’s Managing Director, Mithun K. Chittilappilly, attributed the 8.9% growth to the strong performance of the electronics segment. However, fluctuations in raw material prices impacted the demand for electrical wires, affecting overall growth in the electrical segment. The company witnessed a strong 16% growth in non-southern markets during the quarter. Increased advertising and promotional expenses, particularly for Sunflame, also influenced growth during this period.
With steady growth momentum, V-Guard expects a strong performance in the upcoming summer season, Chittilappilly added.
