Nissan Commences Exports of All-New Tecton SUV from India

KOCHI: Nissan Motor India has commenced the export of its newly launched SUV, the Nissan Tecton, shipping an initial batch of over 1,300 units to South Africa, Bhutan, and Nepal. Built under the company’s ‘One Car. One World’ global strategy, the rollout of the Tecton underlines Nissan’s global competitiveness and the expanding manufacturing capabilities of its Indian operations.

Alongside the strong initial market response for the Tecton, steady demand for existing models like the Magnite and Gravite significantly bolstered Nissan’s overall performance. The automaker reported a remarkable 147% year-on-year sales growth in August, recording total sales of 9,350 units. This total comprises 3,426 units sold in the domestic market and 5,924 units exported across international markets.
