NEW DELHI: The Defence Accounts Department (DAD) has achieved a major administrative milestone by successfully completing 100% normalization of all discrepant pension cases for the Indian Air Force and Indian Navy on the SPARSH (System for Pension Administration – Raksha) portal. Conducted in a mission-mode drive with focused case examinations and multi-office coordination under the Controller General of Defence Accounts (CGDA) and the Principal Controller of Defence Accounts (PCDA – Pension), the special initiative resolved a total of 1,45,182 pending cases. The resolution breakdown accounts for 1,12,638 cases from the Indian Air Force and 32,544 cases from the Indian Navy. Concurrently, the Department has made significant headway in resolving Indian Army pension discrepancies, having successfully normalized 3,90,336 out of 3,94,779 cases—achieving a 98.8% completion rate. The achievement highlights DAD’s commitment to delivering a seamless, error-free, and digitally integrated pension administration ecosystem for defense personnel across the country.
