KOCHI: Enhancing daily commute and transit accessibility for patients, visitors, and hospital staff, Aster Medcity has officially launched the ‘Aster Onedi’ chartered feeder bus service. The new transit initiative was jointly flagged off by T.J. Vinod MLA and Ernakulam Enforcement RTO Biju Issac. Rolled out in strategic partnership with Clean Smart Bus Limited and the Onedi Unified Mobility Platform, the initiative introduces an initial fleet of six 40-seater air-conditioned buses operating in phases.
Operating from Monday through Saturday, the feeder service connects Cheranalloor, Edappally, Kalamassery, Vyttila, and North Paravur directly to Aster Medcity, maintaining a frequent 20-minute shuttle frequency to major metro and bus terminals. Powered by AI-driven Onedi Intelligent Transport Management systems, the service features real-time tracking screens installed across the hospital campus and inside the buses. Commuters can conveniently book tickets, manage group travel, or purchase weekly and monthly transit passes through the Onedi mobile application, available on both Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
