KOCHI: Expanding its international banking and foreign exchange services, ESAF Small Finance Bank has partnered with Thomas Cook (India) Limited to launch the co-branded ‘Borderless Prepaid Multi-Currency Card’ for outbound global travelers. The strategic collaboration combines ESAF Bank’s expanding banking network with Thomas Cook’s domain expertise in travel and foreign exchange solutions.
Designed to streamline international transactions, the multi-currency prepaid card allows travelers to load and manage multiple foreign currencies on a single card, facilitating seamless payments and cash withdrawals across international destinations. Presenting the inaugural card to Dr. K. Paul Thomas, Managing Director and CEO of ESAF Small Finance Bank, leadership representatives from both organizations formally marked the commercial rollout of the offering.
Commenting on the launch, Dr. K. Paul Thomas stated that the strategic partnership blends banking, forex, and travel capabilities to deliver enhanced convenience and flexibility for international travelers, representing a major milestone in strengthening ESAF’s forex portfolio. The launch event was attended by Thomas Cook (India) Limited’s Vice President of Forex Cards Ateeq Khan and Zonal Head of Forex Services Sushant Srinivas, alongside ESAF Bank Executive Vice Presidents Girish C.P. and Chandramangathan K.K.
