KOZHIKODE: Marking Cyber Security Awareness Month, WattleCorp Cybersecurity Labs, in collaboration with Govt Cyberpark, Kozhikode, conducted a specialized awareness session targeting employees across IT companies housed within the cyberpark campus.
The workshop offered practical insights into real-world cyber threats, featuring live demonstrations by WattleCorp security experts on how attackers breach institutional systems and access sensitive corporate data. The session highlighted how minor security oversights in daily operations can trigger major cyber incidents.
A key focus of the presentation was the rising threat of deepfake technology, illustrating how fraudsters impersonate senior leadership through manipulated voice and video to siphon funds and compromise confidential information. Experts shared actionable countermeasures to identify and mitigate such sophisticated scams.
Speaking at the event, organizers stressed that cyber hygiene is vital for every employee across an organization, not just IT technical staff.
Headquartered at Govt Cyberpark Kozhikode since 2018, WattleCorp Cybersecurity Labs serves over 500 clients across 14 countries.
