Kochi: Hero MotoCorp’s electric mobility brand, Vida, has launched its new Vida V1 Plus 4.4 kWh electric scooter (referred to locally as Vida Evooter VX2 Plus). With a range of up to 187 kilometers on a single charge, this model is priced at ₹1,43,990 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
The scooter features a top speed of up to 90 km/h and offers fast-charging capabilities that can charge the battery up to 80% in just 65 minutes. It also entered the Asia Book of Records for the longest journey on an electric scooter, covering 12,111 kilometers over 52 days from Bengaluru to Delhi. The company also announced that Vida has set up over 6,000 fast-charging stations and more than 700 service touchpoints across the country.
