New Delhi : Indian Navy’s frontline stealth frigate, INS Sahyadri, and missile corvette, INS Kulish, successfully concluded their participation in the 23rd ADMM-Plus Experts’ Working Group on Maritime Security Joint Cooperation Activity (EWG-MS JCA) at Subic Bay, Philippines, on September 25, 2026. Co-chaired by Japan and hosted by the Philippine Navy, the exercise commenced on September 21, featuring a comprehensive Harbour Phase that included Subject Matter Expert Exchanges on Peace and Security, Senior Enlisted Leadership, and Marine Environmental Protection, along with cultural exchanges and community engagement. During the operational phase, Indian personnel engaged in Tabletop Exercises and a Pre-Sail Conference before progressing to the Sea Phase, which executed complex joint serials such as Search and Rescue, Hydrographic Survey, Casualty Evacuation, and Deck Landing Qualifications. The successful deployment underscores India’s steadfast commitment to multilateral maritime cooperation, regional security, and interoperability in alignment with its Act East Policy and the vision of MAHASAGAR (Mutual and Holistic Advancement for Security and Growth Across Regions).
