KOCHI: Following a three-year hiatus, JSW MG Motor India has stepped in as the official title sponsor for the Indian Super League (ISL), which will now be branded as the ‘MG Indian Super League’. The upcoming season is set to kick off on October 10 with opening clashes featuring Bengaluru FC against Sporting Club Delhi, and FC Goa facing Chennaiyin FC in a traditional home-and-away format. ISL CEO Ran Yadav highlighted that securing a title sponsor after three years reinforces strong confidence in the growth of Indian football, promising an enriched experience for fans. Expressing optimism about the partnership, Vinay Raina, Chief Commercial Officer of JSW MG Motor India, emphasized sports as a catalyst for societal transformation, aiming to deepen fan engagement and empower grassroots football across the nation.
