THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Leading AI and technology transformation solutions company UST has successfully completed the majority stake acquisition of Italdesign, a premier vehicle design and engineering company formerly part of the Audi Group. The acquisition unites Italdesign’s six decades of iconic automotive design and engineering heritage with UST’s capabilities in artificial intelligence, digital engineering, and software-defined vehicles.
The strategic partnership is positioned to meet the global automotive industry’s shifting demand toward AI-driven, software-centric vehicle architectures. By combining human creativity in design with cutting-edge digital technologies, both companies aim to accelerate next-generation vehicle development from concept to mass production. Following the transaction, Italdesign will continue operating under its established brand name, maintaining its core values while leveraging UST’s global reach and advanced digital transformation footprint.
