UST Distributes 7,500 Tree Saplings Through ‘Guardians of Green 2026’ Initiative

Thiruvananthapuram: Leading IT company UST has launched the ‘Guardians of Green 2026’ initiative aimed at fostering environmental awareness and a sense of responsibility among students, as well as encouraging them to plant and nurture at least one sapling at their homes. The project is designed to help cultivate sustainable lifestyles and eco-friendly habits from a young age. As part of the program, 7,500 tree saplings were distributed across various schools in Thiruvananthapuram and Kochi this year. The initiative was conceptualized and executed by the company’s CSR division.

The distribution of saplings was inaugurated by UST Vice President Shilpa Menon. General Manager Shefi Anwar, Process Intelligence Advisory & Consulting Services Practice Head Gayatri Nair, CSR Lead Vineeth Mohanan, Ramu Krishna, CSR Ambassador Nand Sundaram, and Kerala PR & Marketing Senior Lead K. Roshni Das were also present at the event.
