ICL Fincorp Limited launched a welfare project supporting 35 Malayan tribal families in Athirappilly, inaugurated by MLA Ramesh Chennithala.
Kochi: ICL Fincorp Limited, one of Kerala’s leading financial institutions, has launched a welfare initiative aimed at improving basic infrastructure in tribal areas of the state. The project is being implemented for 35 families belonging to the Malayan community at Thavalakuzhippara settlement in Athirappilly Grama Panchayat, under the Chalakudy constituency. The welfare programme was inaugurated by MLA Ramesh Chennithala, former Home Minister and Leader of the Opposition. Chairman and Managing Director of ICL Fincorp Limited, Adv. K.G. Anil Kumar, Board Director Uma Anil Kumar, and Chalakudy MLA Sanish Kumar Joseph were among those present at the function. The initiative forms part of the welfare activities undertaken in connection with the wedding of Adv. K.G. Anil Kumar’s son. The Thavalakuzhippara tribal settlement was selected for the project following a request from Chalakudy MLA Satheesh Kumar Joseph.
