Kochi: Nestlé India has reported a strong performance for the first quarter of the financial year, registering sales of ₹6,363.3 crore, reflecting a 25.4% year-on-year growth. Despite geopolitical challenges and conflicts in West Asia, the company achieved a 35.6% increase in exports, demonstrating the resilience of its international business. Nestlé India also maintained a healthy EBITDA margin of 24.2% during the quarter. Profit after tax stood at ₹975.1 crore, marking a significant 47.9% increase compared to the corresponding quarter of the previous year. According to Nestlé India Chairman and Managing Director Manish Tiwary, the robust performance was driven by strong growth across multiple sales channels, highlighting the company’s continued momentum in the domestic and export markets.
