KOCHI:Hyundai Motor India has officially launched its new SUV, the Bayon, with introductory prices starting at ₹9,99,900 (ex-showroom). Powered by a 1.5-liter petrol engine delivering 115 PS of peak power, the SUV offers 6-speed manual and Intelligent Variable Transmission (IVT) options.
The Hyundai Bayon introduces advanced in-car technology, highlighted by a Generative AI voice assistant, dual 12.3-inch integrated displays, and over 70 connected vehicle features. Safety is emphasized through a Level 2 Pro Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) suite featuring 23 active safety functions, alongside six standardized airbags across variants. Manufactured in India, the Hyundai Bayon will also serve as a key global export model, with plans to export the SUV to more than 50 international markets.
