Kochi : Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham successfully hosted its annual graduation ceremony over two days, August 22 and 23, at the Amritayanam Auditorium in Amrita Hospital, Kochi. A total of 609 students were awarded degrees across various disciplines, including 262 undergraduate, 317 postgraduate, and 30 Ph.D. degrees. Delivering the keynote address, Swami Purnamritananda Puri, General Secretary of the Mata Amritanandamayi Math, emphasized that strong determination backed by Ichha Shakti (willpower), Jnana Shakti (knowledge), and Kriya Shakti (action) can overcome any obstacle and invoke divine grace. Exceptional academic performers were honored with awards, rank certificates, and doctoral degrees during the convocation.

The event featured eminent guest speakers and academic leaders across both days. On August 22, Dr. Dilip Gopinath Naik, Pro Vice-Chancellor of Manipal Academy of Higher Education, served as the chief guest, alongside Vijay Kumar, Co-founder & CEO of InApp and NASSCOM National Council member. On August 23, Dr. Radha Rangarajan, Director of the Central Drug Research Institute (CDRI), Lucknow, delivered the chief guest address. Key dignitaries including Registrar Dr. Bipin Nair, Associate Provost Dr. Shantikumar V. Nair, Controller of Examinations Dr. P. Krishnakumar, and senior faculty heads from various Amrita schools were present to celebrate the graduates’ achievements.
