Kochi : Ather Energy has announced that its electric scooters will now be available to eligible defence personnel through the Canteen Stores Department (CSD) portal, with sales commencing in September. The platform will feature eight variants across Ather’s popular 450 and Rizta series, excluding the 450 Apex model. In addition to the standard GST concessions offered via CSD purchases, armed forces personnel will also benefit from exclusive discounts provided directly by Ather. As one of the first two electric two-wheeler manufacturers to be listed on the CSD platform, Ather aims to make electric mobility easily accessible and affordable for military members and their families.
