Angamaly: The 16th District Conference and election of new office-bearers of the Consumer Federation of Kerala were held in Angamaly. The conference was inaugurated by Kerala Higher Education Minister R. M. John. The meeting was presided over by M. R. Baby, District President of the federation.
The distribution of Onam kits to members was inaugurated by Rita Paul, Chairperson of Angamaly Municipality. State Chairman K. G. Vijayakumaran Nair delivered the keynote address. T. Y. Elias, Baiju Menachery, V. S. Subhash, Arifa Mohammed and Dileep Cheruvalli were among those who spoke at the event.
The conference also elected new office-bearers for the district committee.P. V. Linoy was elected President, L. Zaheera as General Secretary and J. V. Giljith as Treasurer.
