KOZHIKODE: Two-and-a-half-year-old Lakshmi Krishna Yashwan from Kozhikode has set new records in both the International Book of Records and the India Book of Records by climbing 625 steps across 33 floors non-stop in just 14 minutes and 7 seconds. A Pre-KG student at The White School International in Perumanna, Lakshmi achieved this feat at the HiLITE Olympus tower at the age of 2 years, 6 months, and 6 days.
With this performance, the toddler surpassed the previous record of 362 steps held by a child from Chennai. Lakshmi is the younger daughter of Harikrishnan P.K., Head of Activities and Physical Education Teacher at The White School International, and Aarathi M.R., a tattoo artist, residing in Keezhmad, Velliparamba. Her elder brother, Shiva Krishna Yashwan, is a Grade 1 student at the same school.
