Bharti Airtel Expands Mobile Network Across Amarnath Yatra Pilgrimage Route

KOCHI: Leading telecommunications service provider Bharti Airtel has significantly expanded its mobile network footprint along the holy Amarnath Yatra pilgrimage route. This initiative aims to ensure seamless connectivity for pilgrims, security personnel, and local authorities throughout the yatra.

In addition to the existing coverage at the Baltal Base Camp, Airtel has installed new, state-of-the-art mobile network towers at key locations, including Chandanwari, Pissu Top, and Betab Valley. This expansion guarantees uninterrupted high-speed internet and crystal-clear voice calls across the challenging mountainous terrain.

To ensure a safe journey for pilgrims and establish robust emergency communication systems, Airtel completed this expansion in full cooperation with the Jammu & Kashmir government authorities, central security agencies, and local administration.

According to Airtel sources, the newly strengthened network coverage will deliver superior voice quality and high-speed data connectivity. This will strongly support emergency security communications and provide easy digital access to the hundreds of thousands of pilgrims who undertake the yatra every year.
