DP World Kochi Sets All-Time Monthly Volume Record with 97,952 TEUs Handled in August 2026

KOCHI:  DP World Kochi’s International Container Transshipment Terminal (ICTT) achieved its highest-ever monthly throughput in August 2026, handling 97,952 Twenty-Foot Equivalent Units (TEUs). This milestone marks a robust 51% Year-on-Year (YoY) growth compared to August 2025 and contributes to an overall 19% volume increase for the 2026–27 financial year to date. Demonstrating strong operational resilience amid global geopolitical realignments, the terminal efficiently managed 51 additional vessel calls between June and August while maintaining industry-leading turnaround times. Strengthened by the operational integration of Kerala’s first Free Trade Warehousing Zone (FTWZ) within Vallarpadam, DP World continues to solidify Kochi’s standing as a premier competitive trade gateway for global maritime logistics.
