Thiruvananthapuram: In a landmark achievement, the Kerala Women’s Blind Cricket Team has marched into the finals of the Envestnet Zenith Trophy 2026 All-India Cricket Tournament. Kerala secured its spot in the summit clash by defeating Maharashtra in the final league match held at the Greenfield International Stadium, Karyavattom. This marks the very first time in history that Kerala’s women’s blind cricket team has reached the final of a national-level tournament.

Chasing Maharashtra’s total of 139 runs, Kerala achieved the target in 14.4 overs with 5 wickets in hand. Earlier, after winning the toss and opting to bat, Maharashtra had scored 139 for the loss of 2 wickets in their allotted overs.
