KOCHI: To raise awareness among students regarding the harmful effects of substance abuse, the Rotary Club of Cochin Lords organized an anti-drug awareness seminar at a local school. The seminar was officially inaugurated by Customs Preventive Superintendent Vivek Vasudevan Nair.
Delivering the main address, Mr. Nair highlighted that parents must pay close attention to where their children go, while students themselves must remain cautious and choose good peer groups. He conducted an engaging session outlining the destructive personal and social consequences of drug addiction and shared practical guidance on staying away from illicit substances.
Rotary Club of Cochin Lords President Rotarian Adv. Anitha Mathai Muthirenthi presided over the function. Key office bearers including Rotarian K.V. Thomas, Rotarian Leelamma Thomas, and Rotarian K.V. Krishnakumar also spoke during the event.
