KOCHI: Food ordering and delivery platform Swiggy has announced the launch of ‘Guru’, a 24×7 AI-powered business assistant designed to support its restaurant partners. The conversational interface enables restaurant owners to analyze sales performance, manage and modify ad or discount campaigns, track payouts, and resolve daily operational queries seamlessly. To ensure widespread accessibility, ‘Guru’ supports over 20 regional languages, including Malayalam. By evaluating over 30 key business metrics—such as Gross Merchandise Value (GMV), total orders, and Average Order Value (AOV)—the assistant offers data-driven recommendations to help restaurants optimize operations and boost sales. According to Swiggy, the service is being rolled out to over 2.7 lakh restaurant partners across more than 720 cities.
