KOCHI : Premier consumer electricals major V-Guard Industries Limited has officially launched its new Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) project titled ‘Vatsalyam’. Aimed at fostering holistic child development, the initiative focuses on providing comprehensive care, specialized nutrition, and health monitoring for orphans and vulnerable infants aged from birth to five years. Under the program, V-Guard will support 10 children residing in government-recognized orphanages, fully covering their dietary, healthcare, hygiene, and developmental care requirements during their most critical early growth years.
Unveiling the initiative, Dr. Reena Mithun Chittilappilly, Director of V-Guard Industries Ltd. and V-Guard Foundation, handed over the official financial sponsorship check to Child Welfare Committee (CWC) authorities. Speaking on the core philosophy behind the drive, Dr. Reena Mithun Chittilappilly emphasized that V-Guard’s CSR framework prioritizes long-term empowerment for women and children. She added that ensuring a solid foundation for vulnerable infants is vital for building a healthier, more equitable society, reaffirming V-Guard’s commitment to expanding child welfare and social responsibility initiatives across the region.
