Kochi: ICICI Prudential Life Insurance has introduced ‘ICICI Pru iProtect Smart Her’, a new term insurance plan designed to address the financial and healthcare needs of women. Combining life insurance coverage with wellness benefits, the comprehensive plan offers women a 15% discount on premiums for the entire policy term, along with a Pregnancy Break benefit. The plan also provides a payout option designed to support children’s education, wherein the death benefit increases by 10% annually for 10 years, providing a growing income stream. In addition, women can avail themselves of special health and wellness benefits worth up to ₹25,000, including teleconsultations, annual health check-ups and diagnostic discounts. The company said the plan has been introduced to address the unique financial and healthcare needs of women. Available through a fully digital service journey, the plan also features a simplified claims process, making it convenient and accessible for women.
