Kochi : Chief Minister V. D. Satheesan will inaugurate the state-level Onam Mega Trade Fair organized by Supplyco, the state government’s market intervention agency, on August 8 at 4:00 PM at the Kaloor International Stadium Ground in Kochi. Minister for Food and Civil Supplies Anoop Jacob will preside over the event. The ceremony will feature the presence of Ministers Roji M. John and V. E. Abdul Gafoor, Hibi Eden MP, Kochi Mayor Adv. V. K. Minimol, alongside MLAs Uma Thomas, Anwar Sadath, V. P. Sajeendran, T. J. Vinod, Dr. Mathew Kuzhalnadan, Tony Chammany, Manoj Moolathedan, Deepak Joy, Muhammad Shiyas, Shibu Thekkumpuram, District Panchayat President K. G. Radhakrishnan, Kochi Corporation Deputy Mayor V. R. Sudheer, Councillor Adv. Deepti Mary Varghese, former MP P. C. Thomas, Supplyco Managing Director V. M. Jayakrishnan IAS, Ernakulam District Supply Officer V. R. Shaji, and Supplyco General Manager M. U. Biju. In addition to the Mega Trade Fair in Kochi, Mega Fairs will also be hosted in Thiruvananthapuram and Kozhikode, alongside Exclusive Onam Fairs across other districts. Along with attractive discounts and new product showcases, leading brands across sectors—including household appliances, automobiles, textiles, handicrafts, financial services, and lifestyle products—will participate in the fair.
