Renowned cardiologist Prof. Dr. Antonio Colombo praises Kerala’s cardiac care standards and inaugurates the renovated Cardiology OPD at M.O.S.C. Medical College, Kolenchery.
Kolenchery/KOCHI : Kerala has a high life expectancy and the state’s healthcare standards are comparable with international levels, said renowned cardiologist Prof. Dr. Antonio Colombo. He was delivering the keynote address at the Annual Cardiology Oration organised by the Department of Cardiology at M.O.S.C. Medical College, Kolenchery. Prof. Dr. Antonio Colombo, a globally recognised cardiologist from Milan, Italy, who has made significant contributions to modern cardiac care, including coronary stenting, intravascular imaging and structural heart interventions, is visiting Kerala for the first time. He also inaugurated the renovated Cardiology Outpatient Department at M.O.S.C. Medical College. He observed that the institution has world-class facilities for cardiac treatment. Prof. Dr. Louis Fischer, Dr. Eapen Punnose, Dr. Sojan, Joy P. Jacob, Jacob Joy, Aju Jacob, Dr. Varghese Paul and Peter K. Chacko, among others, addressed the gathering.
