NEW DELHI: HQ Integrated Defence Staff (IDS) has commenced the five-day ‘Combined Operational Review and Evaluation’ (CORE) programme, running from September 14 to 18, 2026, at the Manekshaw Centre in New Delhi. Designed for senior leadership across the Armed Forces, the high-level workshop also features active participation from senior officials representing the Ministries of Defence, External Affairs, and Home Affairs. The CORE programme aims to deepen joint executive understanding of contemporary national and regional security dynamics through structured interactions with domain experts and strategic thinkers. Over the five days, deliberations will cover a broad spectrum of critical security domains, including evolving global threats, technological transformations in modern warfare, strategic communication, and enhanced civil-military coordination. By bridging inter-agency perspectives, HQ IDS continues to strengthen professional competencies, promote jointness, and cultivate integrated strategic decision-making to safeguard national security interests.
