Kalady : Treesa Jackson, a research scholar in the Department of History at Sree Sankaracharya University of Sanskrit, has been selected for the 2026 Erasmus+ Student Exchange Programme. As part of the programme, Treesa will have the opportunity to pursue advanced studies and research at the Central European University (CEU) in Vienna. During the Fall Semester, from September 1 to December 31, 2026, she will engage in academic and research activities in association with the Department of History at the Central European University. The programme will provide her with opportunities to interact academically with international faculty members, researchers and students, while also enabling her to expand her research networks.
Treesa Jackson is the daughter of Jackson, a CIAL employee, and Preemi, an Associate Professor at Sree Sankara College, Kalady. Sree Sankaracharya University of Sanskrit signed an MoU with the Central European University in Vienna in 2024 to promote academic collaboration between the two institutions. Vice Chancellor of the university, Dr. C.S. Thomas, congratulated Treesa Jackson on her selection for the Erasmus+ programme.
