Prof. Dr. Antonio Colombo inaugurate the renovated Cardiology OP department at Kolenchery MOSC Medical Colleg
Kochi : The annual Cardiology Lecture organised by the Department of Cardiology at Kolenchery MOSC Medical College will be held on September 21 at 4 p.m. at the College Campus Conference Hall. Prof. Dr. Antonio Colombo, a globally renowned expert in interventional cardiology and leading researcher from Milan, Italy, will deliver the keynote lecture on ‘Interventional Cardiology: Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow.’
Prof. Dr. Antonio Colombo has pioneered several landmark advances in interventional cardiology, particularly in the fields of coronary stenting, intravascular imaging and structural heart interventions. He is currently Professor at Humanitas University, Milan, Italy, and Senior Consultant at Humanitas Research Hospital. A recipient of the ‘Legend in Cardiovascular Medicine’ honour from the American College of Cardiology, Prof. Colombo will be visiting Kerala for the first time.
